GWT from Radiant is a daylight and UV responsive fluorescent pigment created to bring dazzling color to water-based formulations. A dyed/pigmented thermoplastic polyester amide copolymer, GWT is formaldehyde-free, offers excellent stability and limited lightfastness in exterior exposure due to its chemical structure.
These characteristics make it a go-to UV reactive pigment for water-based inks – such as paper and textile inks – and water-based paints. GWT also has a sister product in WT, which is available in 50% water dispersion.
One standout color option is the GWT-09 UV Blue responsive fluorescent pigment. Almost invisible in daylight, it bursts into life under ultraviolet or ‘black’ light, emitting a vibrant neon blue color. This makes it particularly effective when used as a UV blue tracer for water-based paints, paper and textile inks.
