There’s more to Radiant RBAG – a daylight and UV responsive fluorescent ink base for solvent-based inks – than meets the eye. This highly viscous submicron base offers good lightfastness for indoor applications and creates stunning fluorescent letterpress inks and offset inks while being free of mineral oils.
A dyed/pigmented thermoplastic sulphonamide melamine[MH7]-paraformaldehyde carrier dispersed in an alkyd resin, when converting this base into finished offset fluorescent ink, add 20%-30% printing vehicles, driers and additives.
Recommended for oxidation or heat-set drying ink formulations, RBAG is compatible with conventional inks to enlarge the available color space and create new, brighter shades.
